Dr. Kocsner was born and raised in Hungary. After overcoming many language and cultural barriers, she earned an Associate Degree from Chattahoochee Valley Community College. After the completion of a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Columbus State University, she went on to earn a Master's Degree and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Kocsner's internship experiences include private practice, residential treatment facilities, outpatient clinics, public school systems, and a state mental hospital. Dr, Kocsner is the proud owner of The Brain Center where she provides outpatient psychological services that include psychological assessments, behavioral therapy, parental training and social skill groups. Dr. Kocsner's personal and clinical experiences prepared her for the challenging work of Autism Spectrum Disorders. She brings new found skills and up-to-date knowledge for the diagnosis and treatment of Autism. Dr. Kocsner has also been invited by multiple organizations to give educational speeches on Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Dr. Kocsner has been inducted to the CVCC Hall of Fame and is recognized by Autism Speaks and Cambridge Who's Who Organization.
Most recently, Dr. Kocsner founded the annual Hand-in-Hand for Autism event which helps raise awareness of and to support those affected by Autism.
Dr. Kocsner's clinical skills and personal devotion to aid families affected by Autism is admirable.
